Hymn of Promise
In the bulb there is a flower; in the seed, an apple tree; in cocoons, a hidden promise; butterflies will soon be free! In the cold and snow of winter there's a spring that waits to be, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.
There's a song in every silence, seeking word and melody; there's a dawn in every darkness, bringing hope to you and me. From the past will come the future; what it holds, a mystery, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.
In our end is our beginning; in our time, infinity; in our doubt there is believing; in our life, eternity. In our death, a resurrection; at the last, a victory, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see. ~~ words & music by Natalie Sleeth, 1986 United Methodist Hymnal
Omigosh Laura Lu! That is too unbelievable! Ya know, I was just telling one of my blog friends "Bo" this morning that I don't believe in coincidences. I believe the Lord puts other people in our path for a reason. He may have big plans for you and Susan! That's so great. Gotta admit - I'm a little jealous!!! I would LOVE to meet you and these other wonderful women in blogland. Maybe one day!

It is always so wonderful when I hear about some of the fabulous bloggers meeting each other. How fun for both of you. I know you two will become very fast friends and find many reason to get together. The Lord does work in mysterious ways, and this is one of His blessings. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteWell shoot! I thought I was going to be the first blogger to get to meet Lauralu, but somebody beat me to it! Of course, she does just live down the street from you! Amazing! How exciting for both of you. laurie

ReplyDeleteHello Girlfriend...
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you stopped by today...how are you doing, my friend? I haven't even begun to think about yard work...of course, that's my honey's dept...hehe!
Girl, how lovely for you to meet up with a blogging buddy! I loved the photo...you are so beautiful, Sweetie!!! I'm tall too...only I have you beat at a mere giant-sized stature of 5'10" tall! I used to hate being so tall but as I've grown older and blossomed (sounded better than putting on weight!) I've come to appreciate my tall stature...I can carry it much better than some of these shorties! hehe!!!
Well my friend, have a wonderful Wednesday!
Love ya,
Chari
