Hymn of Promise

In the bulb there is a flower; in the seed, an apple tree; in cocoons, a hidden promise; butterflies will soon be free! In the cold and snow of winter there's a spring that waits to be, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.

There's a song in every silence, seeking word and melody; there's a dawn in every darkness, bringing hope to you and me. From the past will come the future; what it holds, a mystery, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.

In our end is our beginning; in our time, infinity; in our doubt there is believing; in our life, eternity. In our death, a resurrection; at the last, a victory, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see. ~~ words & music by Natalie Sleeth, 1986 United Methodist Hymnal

Sayings to Live By!

Good morning ladies! My post today is to share 2 wonderfully witty statements I discovered on my trip last week! Some friends of ours own a chocolate shop in Knoxville. We stopped there on the way back to pick up some goodies for the ladies in my husband's office. On the wall above their counter hangs 2 absolutely adorable art pieces. They were collages that featured the following statements on a woman's life that I thought you all would enjoy so I wrote them down! I've added my own pics from the web for effect!

"I am fairly certain that given
a cape and a tiara, I could save the world!"

and

"Life is tough ~~ so I recommend getting a
manicure and a really cute helmet!"

  4. these are fun! Hope you have a great weekend!!! I wish I had the stamina you spoke of... I feel like about 90 years old after moving all those plants every day this week! outside each morning...inside each evening...oh my aching back!
Each year I ask myself WHY do I do this to myself...only to yank them all out three short months later!!! and each year I forget the pains and start all over!
